Gardiki Vasiliki, Aesthetician-Cosmetologist, MSc, Phd, is a graduate of Aesthetics from the Technical University of Athens (1988) and holds a Master of Science degree (2007) from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Environment and Health: Capacity Building for Decision Making. She earned her PhD from the Department of Biomedical Sciences with a dissertation titled “Efficacy Tests of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Science Methods.”
She currently serves as a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of West Attica. From November 1999 to February 2010, she worked as a Laboratory Associate in the Department of Aesthetics and Cosmetology at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (TEIA). In February 2010, she was appointed to a permanent position as Laboratory Technical Staff, which was converted to a Laboratory Teaching Staff role in October 2014. Since 2018, she has been a part of the Division of Aesthetics and Cosmetology within the Department of Biomedical Sciences.
She has contributed original research and presentations to esteemed national and international conferences and has participated in peer-reviewed oral presentations. Her research interests include Aesthetics and Cosmetology, with a focus on the evaluation of cosmetic product effectiveness and the application of laser technologies in aesthetic procedures.
